Joy Lewis grew up in Jefferson County, WV and graduated from Shepherd University (then Shepherd College) with a degree in education. After a few years of teaching, she took on the role of stay at home mom, raising two wonderful kids who are now thriving in college. While raising the kids, she obtained her real estate license and joined her mother-in-law Jackie Lewis at Greentree Realty in Shepherdstown.
She was asked to serve Governor Earl Ray Tomblin as his Regional Representative, a position she held for three years, leaving when Gov Tomblin’s term was up. She made many friends and contacts in that role and enjoyed serving West Virginia very much.
Upon leaving the Governor’s office Joy jumped back into real estate, government and public relations and is excited to help her clients any way she can.
The Joy Lewis Group continues to be affiliated with Greentree Realty, where the Lewis Family can handle all of your real estate needs.
Joy enjoys volunteering in her community, serving on the Board of the Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority and the Jefferson County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
